Accomplishments for 2007
Johnny passed his private pilot's checkride 2/23/07 after only 52 hours of flight training, and
only 47 hours of flying at the Long Beach Flying Club.

Joe received his Private Pilot's License on March 2nd! Hopefully Joe will be able to get on a
trip to Northern California soon! Joe had under 55 hours when he took his test.
Mike V had his first solo on February 26th.  It went off flawlessly with some really smooth
landings!
Eric achieved his private pilot's license on March 26th.  Congratulations Eric!
Eli Robbins flew solo for the first time on March 29, 2007.  Congratulations!  
Eli passed his private pilot's checkride on May 30th.  As of November 12, Eli is now A
commercial multi engine rated pilot.  He has been busy!
Ryan Kam went solo in 6295D on March 30th 2007.  Congratulations Ryan!
Tony "Ghost rider" Hann braved the skies for the first time April 17, 2007.  There weren't any
fly bys but there were three good landings.
Tony completed his private pilot checkride on May 31st.  Now for the real adventures!
Casey Dexter's first solo was on August 30th.
Gary flew on his first solo on August 28th!  Gary passed his private pilot's checkride on
December 8th, congratulations Gary.
James Chen's solo was the second of the day, what a busy day for me on July 16th.
Ajay Kaundal was the first solo of the day in a Piper Warrior, July 16th.  Ajay passed his private
pilot's checkride August 15th, and also received his instrument rating on December 14th.  
David Manoucian Completed his Private Pilot's license on July 28.

Gary on his First solo, The airplane on the right is David on his private pilot checkride.  A solo
and a checkride at the same time!
Kevin Grus flew solo for the first time on August 13.  Kevin passed his private pilot's checkride
on December 15th.
Congratulations to Paul on his first solo on November 12, 2007.
Bill Lynch passed his private pilot checkride on December 28th with only 46 hours.  
The pilot of this aircraft, Eric McIntosh, received his Multi Engine Instrument Add on rating in
only 3 days of training, and 8.2 hours in the Piper Seminole.  
Chris Rosenfelt, possibly the only pilot who has flown 5301H to 9,000 feet, passed his
Instrument checkride on December 10th 2007.
Nic Taylor passed his private pilot's checkride on October 2 2007, nice work.
